This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which categories qualtrivm.com uses, and how you can manage your preferences through our banner and Google Consent Mode v2.
1. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device to remember information about your visit, such as language preferences or session state.
2. Categories used
We use four categories: strictly necessary cookies for the operation of the site; functional cookies to remember your choices; analytics cookies to understand how our editorial notes are read; and advertising cookies to measure and personalise advertising, only if you allow it.
3. Google Consent Mode v2
Qualtrivm implements Google Consent Mode v2. When you first arrive, all optional signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, analytics_storage, personalization_storage) are set to 'denied' by default. Google tags are still loaded but do not read or write identifiers until you interact with the banner. Once you accept, reject or save preferences, the corresponding signals are updated in real time via gtag('consent', 'update', ...) and a 'cookie_consent_update' event is pushed to the dataLayer.
4. How long the choice lasts
Your consent choice is stored locally on your device and remains active until you clear your browser data or update it manually. If storage is cleared, the banner will appear again on the next visit.
5. How to manage cookies
You can review and update your preferences at any time by clicking the 'Cookie settings' link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies directly from your browser settings.
6. Third-party providers
When advertising or analytics consent is granted, requests may be sent to Google LLC (Google Ads / GA4). No such requests carry identifiers before consent, thanks to the 'ads_data_redaction' and 'url_passthrough' signals we activate at load time.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when regulation or our technology changes. The date at the top of the document is always the most recent version.
